Rare very large late 18th early 19thc. Staffordshire figure of MINERVA. 14.25" high. Base 3.75". (Hand restored, some chips, touch up to helmet, firing on base, crack to glazing on column) 
Minerva was a Roman Goddess of Wisdom, also a War Goddess who fought for just causes. She was born from Jupiters Head. She is portrayed with an owl denotative of Wisdom.
