Barbara Gair has been trading in quality Antiques for over 40 years. For many years specializing in Staffordshire Figures, Fairings. Mason and other Ironstonewares. During the early years Barbara worked the local fair circuits, where she traded in high quality Furniture, Fine Silver. Glass and Ceramics. There after she acquired a stall at the Famous "Bermondsey  Barbara made many lifelong friends and customers.

In 1986, Barbara met John Gair, they decided to join forces in their businesses. In 1990 both Barbara and John opened their well known Antique Shop in the Broadway, LEIGH-ON-SEA.  Here they traded in Furniture, Staffordshire Figures,  Silver, Glass, Militaria. Tribal Art and Taxidermy.

In March 2021 John lost his battle against heart disease.  Barbara decided to carry on from her own website.  Barbara has kept the Zeppelin and Airship website going to sell the remaining collection of Johns artefacts.

In late 2023 Barbara has now decided to go on Instagram to promote the website.  Please take a look under barbaragairantiques on Instagram. Any new stock will be shown on Instagram immediately.

The Staffordshire Figure Association (SFA) is an organization that promotes the enjoyment and study of pottery figures made in Staffordshire, England and other regions of Gt. Britain during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. By sharing interests and knowledge with each other as well as with curators, historians and the general public, our members ensure that Staffordshire figures will be appreciated for generations to come.
