Rare 19thc. Porcellanous Staffordshire Jug depicting  Isaac Van Amburgh, the American Lion Tamer, born in Kentucky and came to England in 1838, he attracted considerable attention by his Drury Lane performances with a mixed cage of Lions, Leopards and a Lamb, it has a Tiger handle circa 1840
