19th century Staffordshire, possibly of the Siamese Twins. A Circus piece.  The twins were removed to North America and subsequently shown in his circus by Barnum. PUGH'S Page I531 Fig. 58. Marked as Rare. A Man in Highland dress is seated on the left, playing a musical instrument.  On the right sit Siamese twins, Chang and Eng Bunker, each wearing a plumed bonnet.  All are seated under a decorated arch. repair to arbour and feather of hat missing. 11" high. Base 8" x 4" circa 1860. Ref. 3279 - £75
