19th century Staffordshire Pink Sunderland Lustre Jug with 3 masted ship to front of jug with sailor and girl to either side of ship. On one side of jug the poem reads:
When this you see, Remember me, Though many miles, We distance be.
On the other side reads:
The man docm'd to sail, With the blast of the gale, Through billows Atlantic to steer, As bends o'er the wave, Which may soon be his grave; Remembers his home with a tear.
